We are excited to be hosting our Community Christmas Lunch this year under our new name Home Base.

This event is an opportunity to bring the community together through companionship and support and we are very grateful for your generosity in volunteering your time and assitance to make the day a success.

Lunch will be at  In The Hanging Garden, located in Liverpool Street, Hobart on 25 December 2024 from 12-1.30pm.

With the health and safety of our most vulnerable at the forefront of our minds, all volunteers aged 16 and over are required to upload  either a valid copy of their Working with Vulnerable People Card  OR a valid copy of their National Police Check (any applications without this will not be accepted).

We’re excited to have a photographer at the event this year. By registering to attend, you grant us permission to use your photograph, video, or other digital media image. These images can be used in all of our publications, including web-based publications without payment or other considerations. If you don’t wish to be in any photographs, please request an exemption form and make it known to the Home Base team.

Volunteers will be required to be onsite at 11.15am to attend a briefing with all the information needed for the day and to be alloacted their duties, and will finish at 3.30pm or earlier depending on when the pack up is completed.
